Body Sculpting

Good News. I've been reading about body building and I now think that just doing weight training twice a week will show some good results. I have been slowly adding sessions with the exercise bike to my routine. I feel a difference. I think the swimming is a little too low impact to really build muscle. The swimming has been good low impact physical therapy for my hurt back.

Now for the month of April I plan to add an hour of weight training to each weeks exercise. I measure in tomorrow and I'll measure in May first. My goal for this first month is to see a measurable change in five hours of weight training over the month of April 2011.

My other goal is to drop 2% body fat per month. I'll need to put up a graph to encourage me to stay on a better diet.

Slow Recovery

March was a good month. I got in a lot of swimming and averaged 28 minutes of exercise per day.
My graphs in my exercise book are looking better. I'm feeling a little leaner. I will measure in April first and see if I really am getting leaner.

The back ache is finally lessening. The hip pain from the arthritis is easing up very slowly. A new experiment is to take a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar at every meal and see if if will help cure the arthritis. This is a folk cure for arthritis and I'll let you know how it works.

Sleep is evasive. I have been having troubles falling asleep at night and it is probably caffeine related. I have real troubles on nights that I have iced tea with dinner.
